I know on that I seen it I was just saying that cause I never win anything unless I'm really lucky at time but that is like one percent on that

Honestly.. it's this kind of negativity that gets you stuck in that rut. Try to keep positive.
You may not have won anything in this contest, but you should consider entering other ones too.
The more contests you'll enter the better you'll find yourself doing and the more your art will also improve while doing it too.
Minty's contest was very specific and she was looking for an OC that was very specific. The people that won depicted her vision for what she wanted in the character, the best.

I'm not being negative but sorry on that alright though I'm used to it on not winning but I'm not a sore loser I'm happy that those people that she choose for the winners that won I'm happy for them alright and besides even if I join more contests I still still doubt that I would win cause I use bases instead of hand drawn it out cause I'm not used to that as much as I'm used to drawing on a base also I did my best on it with what she wanted for it but that is how I am and I don't use too much emotion on when I type so sorry if it seem negative to you guys but that is how I type and how I act I'm kinda a blank slate that has no emotions at times besides I made it into an adoptable so it was sold for 20 points it is the same on another contest entry I have if it doesn't get pick so again sorry if it seems negative to you guys and sorry if it seems like a long run on sentence

Since there's multiple things to respond to in your post I'm going to break it up and then respond in italics.

"I'm not being negative"
To me it kind of looked like you were from the way that you worded your post. If you weren't, I appologise. I wasn't trying to harp on you, rather, just give you some advise.

"but I'm not a sore loser"
I never said you were.. o.o

"even if I join more contests I still still doubt that I would win cause I use bases instead of hand drawn it out cause I'm not used to that as much as I'm used to drawing on a base"
This is what I meant by negativity. You're putting yourself down before you've even tried again. Try not to do that and honestly, don't worry about bases. Tons of people use them and they're a great learning tool, or just something fun to work with if you don't feel like drawing out a body yourself. There's nothing wrong with using them. Personally I love them since it makes imitating a show-style way easier.

alright this is gonna be the last reply I do I don't want to make mintoria upset anymore also in the past most people on here been getting on my case of not using bases so much and just draw them free handed or hand drawn something like that so I'm used to it

If someone gets on your case about using bases I would honestly just block them. It's your art and your choice whether or not you use them. Don't worry about what other people think. Bases are wonderful and they're there as a free resource (unless some are paid) to help new artists learn, or other artists who just feel like designing or drawing on them.
